I have nothing to say. I really and truly believed that I would have made more of an effort to post somethingg but I haven’t really cared much. Not that I think anyone reads my drivel consistently, other than the five or six people who are in my link list, but I write as an exercise for myself more than to entertain anyone else.

Of course, I have guests this week and can use that as an excuse. I really need to figure out what to do with this site ultimately since I can’t seem to find the motivation to write here. I could go the route of other recent bloggers and quit altogether, only to pop up somewhere else. Who knows what the future holds for the Monkey Diaries?

I think i’ll just post once per month. Well, at least that is what it seems that my posting habit has deteriorated down to. Honestly, I just needed to take some time away from posting and reading blogs. I’ve spent a good amount of time working on my new business website, transfering all my clients to the new host (dreamhost.com for those of you too lazy to read the former post about that), and other non-blog related activities.

I would imagine that I’ll begin posting semi-regularly in the coming days.

Large fires are rare on maui… This brush fire is in West Maui and it is currently ignoring all attempts to be put out. Interestingly enough, this is what the volcano on the Big Island looks like at night.
