I’ve been watching back to back episodes of Law & Order: SVU and while it is entertaining, I find myself wondering quite often how someone could possibly work in a “special victims unit” of any police force. How can someone do that job day in and day out and not get completely mental. I could handle murders, but sex crimes? Not so much.
Though I think it would be fun to be an investigator, either in forensics or crime scene technology.
That would be pretty tough. I once worked for an organization that handled issues related to missing and exploited children. There are people working there who spend their days looking for or at child porn. No thank you!
